Seems a user came into our IRC channel using an 0.64 version of mIRGGI on a Symbian phone, and was randomly getting added to private conversations (wikkedwire IRC network)
Thought I would report it, as it seemed odd, and a bit invasive. Cheers.

one bug: on nokia5233
the application runs fine until you want to get cloaked and run your nicks on other machines and at the same time on mokia5233 also.

It works on nokia N8 but it can't connect with a WLAN. It says"resolving server address..." then "connecting to server..." then it says"SysError:-34" and then"disconnected from server". Can you tell me what that means or fix it? The program works very nice and it didn't crash. I haven't tried it with GRPS yet.

A symbian^3 version would be very nice.

I have a N8, but i have problem. How can I write something in this program? I touch every button and the whole screen but I still dont find how to message... So sad :(

How to scroll channel windows up/down on N8 with Belle? Changing channels works with volume buttons but can't find anyway to scroll up/down. Also typing is very laggy, tapping screen for input works maybe one time from ten.

It would be really great if youd make it work for nokia N9. There are no alternatives atm (with auto commands ex). So please think about it.

Sending message works by pressing enter (or with the ITU-T keypad press 0 three times to get enter)

Channel switching works via volume keys.

I am using a Nokia 5230 Symbian OS v9.4 S60v5. I download and install the mirggi on my phone and connected it to server but when i write a message there no send button to send that message. Its also hard to navigate to the respected channel you are already connected to or to scroll that channel. Please help me because i really like the design.

mIRGGI 0.64 quits after disconnect if "keepalive (s)" is set to something else than 0. My phone is C5-00 with S60 3rd edition, Feature Pack 2. This problem was also with 6121c so guess it is a bigger problem with S60 3rd version?

how about a convinient way to switch between channels? "join channel" does not work
you will always see the last channel joined. And i couldnt figure out how to switch between them - a touch friendly menu item for that would be brilliant. also i had the app terminating every now and then. (n8 symbian anna)

@Tamás ez valószínűleg memóriafelosztási hiba, a mIRGGI tiltott memóriaterülethez próbált hozzáférni / this is most likely a segmentation fault, mIRGGI tried to access a memory segment it didn't have access to

Works fine on Nokia N8 too
only thing is switching from channel to channel :) have to do it with the virtual key program. hope somtimes u will bring an update we can switch by wipe on the screen :)

On nokia x6-00 16gb everything works, except i can not send the text message, i can't see any enter or ok button and one click or double click doesn't send the typed message to the channel. my x6 is a full touchscreen handy with no keys, it has only a virtual keyboard. i can't see the enter or ok button in mirggi and doubletap on the screen dont work here. pls help.

don't understand what do you mean by enter. I connect, write "/nickserv identify **** enter" ? Is that it? Doesn't work. Or do i have to use a symbol? Nokia X6 here

I only get the name of the person who has typed a PM to me appearing briefly in a pop-up box in top left of main chat screen. No alert tone/light/vibration. If the phone display light is off it does not come on.

Trying to help a friend of mine get this working on her phone. We finally got it working, but we can't switch between windows. She has a Nokia 5230 nuron which is running S60v5 but it's all touch. no right or left button to switch screen like the main page suggests. Any ideas?

App ei yhdistä serverille. En usko, että puhelimen internetyhteys on asetettu oikein. Ongelmana että ei ole olemassa asetuksia yhteyden säätämiseksi.. Nokia C6 on app.managers josta voi säätää asetuksia, mutta mirggin kohdalla vaihtoehtoa ei ole.. joten ei toimi :-C

im using new v0.64 on my nokia N8..it connects fine to most servers,unless the server requires ssl auth.
all i get is SysError:-5120
can anyone shed any light on this?cheers steve

Same bug as some other users have.

When connecting to an SSL server with SSL enabled, it will "try SSL3.0", and ask the user about the self-signed certificate (in case it's not signed by a CA).

After accepting the Cert, mIRGGI will say:

"mIRGGI: Feature not supported". Maybe SSL libs missing on E72 (and some other phones)?!
